  • 5 nights INCLUDING shared accommodation at Chatel, a small village  in the French Alps. An off-the-grid Ayurveda retreat with yoga and other activities in the rural mountains.

    • “Breaking the fast” with light bite after yoga.

Health Consultations with Susan Renee Pulley will be available prior to arrival, or after returning home.


Personal yoga experience can be developed with Marije Hoekstra, Durga Yoga, before and after the retreat.

Marije & Susan make an amazing team, and have been partnering up for nearly a decade to offer unique opportunities for yogis to draw Ayurveda closer into their lives

About Marije

Marije is a yoga teacher & enthusiast, and she keeps pace with her 3 seriously sporty young boys. She has a big love for breathing and healing techniques. She spreads the love for yoga in her french mountain village sharing with locals as well as tourists from all over the world. 

Thanks to yoga, she juggles family life, work, and manages the full sceduals of her little people– and she does it in style. We hope you’ll love her as much as we do at Atma Ayurveda!


Marije is an inspiring teacher for some of our yoga sessions, and she will introduce you to some meditations and Pranayama techniques. She will guide you into the mountains along her favourite routes. We could also call her our Course Concierge! She’ll keep track of timings and ensure smooth transitions.

        • Understanding our fresh, healthy meals according to Ayurveda

        • Trading Ayurvedic mindfulness bodywork (clothed) 
        • Learning and trading head, shoulder, hand and foot massage with Ayurvedic herbal oils
        • Practice Ayurveda’s Mind Hygiene techniques
        • Nose drop treatment and neti pot cleansing
        • Selecting pranayama and yoga for your needs
        • How Ayurveda can give you peace and quiet in the mind and refreshing energy for your body

    Susan is the founder & lead practitioner at Atma Ayurveda, a full-spectrum Ayurvedic wellness clinic offering nutrition, consultations, Ayurvedic therapies & cleanses in Amsterdam.

    Susan specializes in women’s health & menopause, stress and burnout, and has more than a decade of clinical experience. Susan helps people transform their health and vitality through practical use of classic Ayurvedic nutrition, herbs, warm oil treatments and education.

    In 2008, Susan moved to the Netherlands to teach for the Academy of Ayurvedic Studies, now Delight Academy.
